My name is Jake Gutierrez, I'm the author and purveyor of this place and I'm a massive New Mexico United fanatico to say the least. Being originally from New Mexico, this team's birth in 2018 was such an oddly transformative event because I never truly understood the power of football as a vehicle for friend-making and community-building until United's inception. It's been wild and wonderful.

It's also provided another outlet for my uniform and uni-number "obsession". Lower-league soccer can see things quietly come and go so I wanted to make sure all this uni-number minutiae had a permanent record and home somewhere, and that somewhere is here. 

Aside from documenting this team's uniform numbers, I've volunteered with two of the independent supporters groups - The Curse and currently The Galactic Ambassadors - and can be found in section 201 Row A at the Lab.
